UNISON RESEARCH Unico CD Primo

A number of technical improvements have been made for this new player. It features a new 100VA toroidal transformer (big enough to power a small integrated amplifier!) There are also now two separate circuit boards, one for the power supply and digital signals and the other for the output stage.

Like its bigger brother - the Unico CDE - this new CD Primo has been designed so that different DAC boards can be inserted for future upgrades that may become available.
Perhaps most interesting of all is the inclusion of a digital USB input for connecting to a streaming device to accept isochronous audio data which then feeds the DAC circuit.
